How many ways can I say incredible? The National Eucharistic Congress was seven days of truly experiencing Heaven on earth. From the talks and exhibits to the amazing people we met throughout our exhibiting hours, it was such a transforming time.
My Takeaways:
No. 1 - The Lord is USING the Eucharist Necklace in BIG ways.
Going into the conference, I knew the Eucharist Necklace was our best seller. I understood its impact on women and its gift-ability. However, the necklace once again proved to be a beacon of light and attention during the conference. Women were drawn to its simplicity and femininity, making it a perfect reminder of the source and summit of our Catholic faith.
No. 2 - Working with your sister is the best!
I flew out my sister to help me work my booth during the conference. It brought me to tears at the end of the event, seeing her talk about the brand and products as if they were her own. She was beyond servant-hearted the entire week, giving 100% despite the exhaustion of long conference days. Although she is three years younger than me, I have so much to learn from her character.
No. 3 - No matter how prepared you are for a large event like NEC, there are still things that can happen that are out of your control.
On the last day of the conference, with four hours left of exhibiting, my permanent jewelry machine stopped working. With a line of 10 girls eager to get permanent jewelry, I had to humbly share the sad news that my machine had stopped performing and I needed to troubleshoot. I quickly found a resolution with the help of some friends and secured new grounded pliers to fix the problem. In the last hour and a half, I was back in action zapping. The women were SO patient and kind. They came back to get their bracelets and were so excited that everything worked out.
God is doing incredible things, and I feel blessed to be part of this journey!
